Since our foundation in 1985, an outstanding record of success has been achieved. This has been demonstrated both in terms of the A-level results of our students and in the success of these students in entering the most competitive degree courses and universities.

The College offers students a stimulating academic environment in which staff and students work together to achieve academic success and realise their potential. Students are treated as young adults and expected to adopt a mature and responsible attitude to their studies. We endeavour to create a hard-working, yet informal atmosphere. Our students are taught by enthusiastic teachers committed to the examination success of their students. Many of our staff have specific expertise to draw upon, gained from academic research of periods in business and industry and we are fortunate to have both assistant and principal examiners in the staff body.

Approachable teachers and small class sizes, together with a programme of regular testing and exam-focused tuition, rapidly improves a student's self-confidence and helps to maximise student achievement.

Each student's progress is carefully monitored and difficulties are rapidly and sympathetically addressed through academic and pastoral support.
