Given the wide range of degree courses offered at a bewildering number of universities, it is important that students are well advised before making their university and college applications.

Apart from the medical, dental, pharmacy and engineering professions, we have increasingly enrolled students who are aiming for managerial positions in blue chip companies, frequently in banking and finance. In order to achieve such ambitions these students go on to study subjects such as mathematics, economics and management science at universities including the London School of Economics, Imperial College, UCL, Nottingham and Warwick.
In 2009 25% our students won places at one of Cambridge, Oxford, UCL or Imperial College.
Our success in assisting students to enter these highly competitive degree courses at the UK's very best universities is founded on the very high quality of the teaching we provide that is in turn supported by our effective pastoral system. The latter includes a highly personalised approach to each student's application to university with close attention paid to the production of the required UCAS Personal Statement. In addition, specific support is given to students to enable them to reveal their potential in a university entrance interview situation.
Senior Tutors, the Vice Principal and the Principal all
play an integral role in helping students to achieve their higher
education and / or career goals.

Oxbridge
We provide a comprehensive programme of advice, practice interviews and tuition for those students we think have a chance of being offered an Oxbridge place.
Medicine and Dentistry
During the Lower Sixth year students are encouraged to arrange essential work experience and also to visit schools of medicine or dentistry to find out more about the structure and content of the courses offered.
Prospective medical and dentistry students participate in a Medicine and Dentistry Programme that includes BMAT and UKCAT workshops early in the Autumn term, a programme of seminars on medical issues and mock interviews.
