I came to Abbey College when my English was extremely poor. I nearly misunderstood all that people here spoke but I still had to study four subjects with lots of language. If my teachers at Abbey College had not helped me with their special yet appropriate ways of teaching, I would not have achieved my goal to get excellent A-level results compared with native and other international students. I am deeply grateful to them for the four A grades I achieved and now have and I am now studying engineering at Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge University.
