Freud Museum VisitOn Tuesday 8 March 2011 lower sixth psychology students visited the Freud museum in Hampstead accompanied by their class teacher Tony Dugdale, senior tutor Elizabeth Sweeney and Vice Principal Lee Roberts. Students were able to see the famous couch on which Freud's patients lay whilst undergoing psychoanalysis. A range of modern art works were also on display embodying themes and ideas from Freud's writings. The visit proved insightful and enjoyable and allowed students to think about the man behind the writings and the world in which he lived. The excursion has now become an annual feature of the psychology course at Abbey London.
